I don't even know the origin of this. It wasn't a writing exercise. I don't know why, but I just wrote it one day and though it's cute so I'm posting it here. Not my best work, but the last of my old writing. I still have some one-shots, but I am going to be writing some new small shorts.

Charlotte stood in the doorway of Andrew's office, talking to him. Her boyfriend, Brandon, stood behind her, holding his fingers to his lips so Andrew wouldn't say anything. Brandon grabbed Charlotte's shoulders, making her scream. She turned to see him laughing.
"You fucking asshole!" Charlotte wasn't one for expletives, but it was a reflex at that moment. Andrew couldn't help but chuckle a little.
"Listen, you can't hold that against me. I saw the opportunity and took it. No one told you to allow yourself to be so vulnerable." Brandon wrapped his arms around Charlotte's waist, resting his chin on her shoulder.
"You're such an idiot. Jesus. Please don't do that again."
"I'm sorry." Brandon kissed her cheek, laughing. "So what's the gossip today?" He asked.
"No gossip. I was just asking Char for advice on what to do for Roger and my five year anniversary." Andrew explained.
"Oh. Well, you've come to the right person. Charlotte's expertise is date planning." Brandon smiled. "What did you tell him?"
"Well for their last anniversary, I figured, since Fall Out Boy is Roger's favorite band and they're performing at the arena on their anniversary weekend they could go."
"You're taking him to see Fall Out Boy? He's going to flip." Brandon smiled.
"If I could get tickets, I'll take him, but-"
"Lucky for you I had two tickets for Bran and me, but you take them," Charlotte explained. Andrew's face lit up.
"Wait. What? But I want to see Fall Out Boy too." Brandon whined.
"They're coming back in two months. And we're going to that show. Relax." Charlotte laughed. "I'll bring you the tickets for tomorrow and you can surprise him."
"He's going to shit bricks. I owe you, Char."
"Just name your daughter after her." Brandon teased.
"You owe me nothing." Charlotte smiled. "You guys deserve to have a good time, especially with the baby on the way. Enjoy pre-family life as long as you can."
"But you don't regret having kids, right?" Andrew asked.
"No. I mean- sometimes they're little shits, but then I remember, I decided to procreate with this one." Charlotte laughed.
"Hey."
"They are both just like him. It's wild." She looked at Brandon. "You know it's true."
"Yeah. Jace can be a bit of a shit sometimes. It's all the sugar your mother gives to him."
"Maybe." Charlotte shrugged. "Alright, I'll bring you the tickets tomorrow." She pushed Brandon out of the office.
"Thanks again, Char." Andrew smiled. Charlotte nodded before closing his office door.
"That was nice of you."
"I know. You need to get back to work."
"Okay, Madame CEO." He kissed her cheek.
"Shut up." She pushed him away, laughing.
