Oops

Okay. I wrote this whole "Frasier Appreciation Post" for today, but it for some reason didn't save and schedule and I lost EVERYTHING - It was a shorter post than normal, but still, I'm peeved that it is lost forever. So take this if I can't write a better post by this time 2pm PST / 5pm EST comes around. If you see this, I failed. If not, you got a pretty great post. I'm sorry. But NEXT Friday I am writing a post about Waterparks which is slowly becoming my favorite band. I'm going to be doing "Fangirl Friday" either every Friday or every other Friday. It'll just be me talking about whatever I am obsessed with at the time. Next week will be GREAT! I'm sorry if all the posts for the rest of this week are fillers. I'm just trying to get through until next week. Everything will be much more structured. I am so excited. Anyway, if you see this, I'm sorry I couldn't come up with something better. I know I suck.

Legally Blonde the Musical

So I don't listen to musical cast albums as much as I did last year. I have been very out of touch with Broadway and theater this year. However, I still love musicals, one of them being Legally Blonde the Musical! Honestly, I ignored Legally Blonde the movie for most of my life and the only reason I gave the musical a chance is because I became obsessed with Christian Borle. I fell in love with the musical and how it was a girl power story and then I watched the movie and it made me love Reese Witherspoon even more. But I will admit I like the musical more than the movie, but I think overall this story is amazing for girls. You can be both pretty and smart. Let's start with the characters and original Broadway cast (this is from the Wikipedia page so it's not a complete list of characters): Laura Bell Bundy as Elle Woods Christian Borle as Emmett Forrest Richard H. Blake as Warner Huntington III Orfeh as Paulette Bonafonte Kate Shindle as Vivienne Kensingt

Casual Screaming About Joaquin Phoenix

Hi! Today I'm going to scream and gush about my favorite actor, Joaquin Phoenix! If you asked me five years ago who is my favorite actor, I would have said Johnny Depp. But he has fallen from grace and I don't want to get into that mess. But I will say I still think Johnny Depp is one of the most talented actors of today. I just don't like him outside of the movies. Not anymore. And I have watched all of his movies except for one. Now let's talk about Joaquin. If you are not familiar with him by name and that first photo I inserted, this is the part of the blog where I name his most famous movies. He was in Her, The Master, Gladiator, Disney's Brother Bear, Walk the Line, and a lot of other movies. I'll link his filmography here . The first time I experience Joaquin Phoenix was in Gladiator. I was eleven and I immediately fell in love with him. Besides the fact that I had and still have the biggest crush on him, I fell in love with his portrayal. I hated

Kinda Review: Straight Outta Oz

Hi! I love Todrick Hall with all my soul and when Straight Outta Oz came out two years ago, I had it on repeat. I actually met him a few months before the album was released. I'll include the photo below. It'll be my one and probably only face reveal on this blog. Todrick and I in Oct. 2015 when he performed at my former college I no longer look like this. I got 0.02% cuter since then. I think Todrick Hall is one of the most talented people of this era and he deserves so much more recognition than he gets. He is also really sweet and he did inspire me to come out to my parents. I don't know if I have mentioned being queer on this blog yet. Surprise! But are you REALLY that surprised? Probably not. He is an amazing performer and if you have the chance to see him live DO IT! I saw him in 2015 and then I saw him recently again when he was in Chicago playing Billy Flynn. He is a hell of a performer. But anyway, let's get to talking about his wonderful album Strai

What Happened to the Falsettos Family After Whizzer Died?

Hi! Are you ready for a depressing blog post, because I am ready to write one! Obviously, if you haven't seen or listened to Falsettos [ SPOILER ALERT!!! ] Whizzer dies at the end due to complications with HIV/AIDS. Now that we've moved past that, let's go into some theories that I have thought up. I probably won't include any photos in this. Just a warning if it's all words. And I apologize if my "lingo" when talking about HIV/AIDS is wrong. I'm trying my best. Also these are all theories or ideas of what could have happened to the everyone after Whizzer's death. Of course it's based on fictional characters and I do not mean to offend in any way. I don't think I will, but just in case, here's your disclaimer. I'm sorry if I offend anyone with this post. Okay, so we know that when Whizzer wasn't doing well, Dr. Charlotte took Marvin aside and told him that HIV/AIDS spreads from one man to another. This scene obviously se

Untitled 3 [Writing #9]

Words: 299 Sarah stumbled into the apartment. Her roommate, Michael, walked into the living room. "You're home late." He commented, not noticing she was tipsy. "Yeah. We went to a bar and talked and I am now a free man!" She laughed. "Except you have a vagina." "Wow. Rude and sexist." She looked at him, before giggling. "I dumped him and told him that this chapter of my life is over!" "Are you drunk?" Michael asked. "Yes. Very. I had to. You'd be drunk too if you were dating such a dick." "Sure." Michael laughed. "Come on. Let's get you showered and into bed. "I love you, Mikey." She wrapped her arms around him. "I mean I know you're gay, but you and I would make beautiful children." She smiled. "We would, but it would never happen." "You wouldn't be my baby daddy?" She asked. He looked at her. "It's just a thought! Think a

Let's Talk About the Lion King Remake

FIRST OF ALL hi. I am a huge Disney geek. And on July 19, 2019, a little less than a year from now, Disney is planning to release a "photorealistic" remake of The Lion King. I am excited, yet skeptical of it. In my opinion, Disney has done a wonderful job with their recent live-action remakes, so there is no doubt in my mind that this will be great. Everyone except for the Disney Company has been calling it a "live-action" remake. Which is keeping their integrity because it could not be a live action film if none of the characters are living. It'll most likely be CGI - hopefully, well-done CGI. I am envisioning Aslan from the Narnia movies, but times one hundred since most of the characters are lions. And I remember - for the time - Aslan was one very well. I have hope in Disney because they have yet to disappoint me. Let me tell you before I was read on the production of this movie, I was ready to make a whole post on why it is stupid to call it a live-ac

An Untitled Book of Mormon One Shot [Writing #8]

Words: 790 Arnold and Kevin sat at the local Miami gay bar. Kevin had a beer and Arnold was on his third martini. "I really think you should slow down," Kevin advised his best friend. "I'm fine! It's not every day I get to order a martini. Thanks for dragging me to the gay bar tonight. I'm not gay, but I like it here more than the sports bar we used to go to." "Yeah." Kevin scanned the room, looking for someone he could potentially flirt with and maybe hook up with. "Hello, gentlemen." Someone put their hands on both men's shoulders. "How are you doing?" Kevin turned to see Connor. He couldn't help but smile at the redhead. "I'm great, Connor. How are you?" "I'm okay. Can I join you guys?" "Of course!" Kevin had crushed on Connor since they met on their mission trip to Uganda. When the trip was over and the church disowned them, they all moved to Miami. It wasn't Orl

Casual Screaming About Bruno Mars

Bringing back the "Casual Screaming" posts. This time I'm fangirling over Bruno Mars because he's is great. Bruno Mars and girlfriend, Jessica Caban I would like to start off by saying I think he is one of the most attractive people in the world and I love him so much. I have a Tumblr blog to scream about him and his girlfriend, Jessica Caban. I'll probably write a separate blog post about her because I am in love with her - in an unharmful fan way, not in a creepy stalker way. I first fell in love with Bruno's voice way back in 2009ish when I first heard "Nothin' On You" on the radio. I fell in love with his voice and this was a time before artist credited who was featured on their songs, so I didn't know who he was or how to find him. Then the music video (inserted below) came out and I got to put a face with the voice and I crushed on him. A lot. Then after "Nothin' On You" there was "Billionaire" and Bru

Untitled #2 [Writing #7]

Words: 249 Clara stared at her husband as he tried finishing up his novel. His glasses were on the edge of his nose. Mark has been writing this novel for months and it was almost finally finished. They would both be relieved when it was. After typing 'The End' at the very bottom of the page, he shut his laptop and looked at his wife. "It's finished." He informed her. "Thank God!" She kissed him. "Congratulations, my love." "Thanks." He smiled. "How long were you watching me?" "Just as you were writing the last two paragraphs." She admitted, laughing. "I love to admire my writer husband when he writes. What's wrong with that?" "Nothing, but why? Doesn't it get boring?" He asked.\ "Not really. I find it soothing. I love the sound of you typing. I don't know what it is about it, but it's very calming." "I'm glad to hear that, I guess." He laughed. &q

My 10 Favorite Queen Videos

THIS POST TOOK FOREVER! I AM SORRY, BUT HERE IT IT! If you know me in real life, you know that Queen is one of my favorite bands of all time. I personally think that they are the best band of all time, not the Beatles. Though I also love the Beatles. So I thought I'd write a blog post about how I'd rank all of the Queen music videos. I'll also probably do a similar post for Freddie Mercury's solo music videos. John Deacon, Roger Taylor, Freddie Mercury and Brian May in "The Invisible Man" music video If you don't know who Queen is, they are a rock band from the 70/80s. They were headed by lead singer Freddie Mercury until his death in 1991. Brian May was the lead guitarist. John Deacon played bass and Roger Taylor played drums. To this day, Queen still does some live performances with Brian and Roger still on guitar and drums and Adam Lambert singing all the songs Freddie immortalized with his voice. If you still don't know who they are, they
