My Reaction to Panic! at the Disco's cover of "The Greatest Show"

This blog is going to end up being me reacting to everything Panic! at the Disco does.

But recently, Panic! at the Disco's cover of "The Greatest Show" for The Greatest Showman: Reimagined has come out for public consumption. I mistakenly thought the whole album was out, but it's not so I'm only reacting to Panic!'s cover. Please keep in mind that I am writing this Nov 2. So the album might already be out when this post goes live.

First of all, I had to pause it eight times in the beginning because Brendon Urie's voice destroyed my soul as it always does and my little fangirl heart couldn't handle it.

I absolutely love this cover. Now, I am someone who is not the biggest fan of song covers, but I was genuinely excited for The Greatest Showman: Reimagined because a lot of the people on the album are people I love and admire.

Brendon's voice. HIS VOICE! It's so good. It's always good. But BOY I wasn't ready. I don't think they could have chosen a better artist to cover this song from the movie musical. I don't think I can ever imagine anyone else doing a better job.

I know there are talks of The Greatest Showman moving to Broadway and if it does I want Brendon to be considered for the role of Barnum. If we thought Hugh Jackman was good, imagine Brendon.

We've already seen him in the red ringmaster's jacket.

I love this cover with all my soul and every atom of my existence. In the beginning when Brendon's voice is low and isolated. That kills me every time. He brings so much energy to the song. I. honestly, love this cover more than the original. Sorry, Jackman, but Brendon wins every time. Well, except for the "Hey Ya! cover, but that's for another post.

This just made me fall in love with Brendon's voice all over again. It reminded me of sitting in the back seat of my dad's blue Honda Civic and listening to "I Write Sings Not Tragedies" for the first time.

I just love Panic! at the Disco so much. And I love Brendon's voice. I don't even think I did a good job reacting to the song in this post, but I wanted to write about it.

I am only a bit bummed that Dallon isn't in the show anymore so we can't hear his backing vocals, but it's still great.

Zac Efron and Garrett Clayton are Basically the Same Person

I, a 21-year-old adult, is still a HUGE fan of the High School Musical franchise. In high school, had I been a better planner, I would have asked Lucas Grabeel to be my prom date. And even though I was older than most viewers, I did love Teen Beach Movie when it came out. In this post, I am going to explain how Zac Efron and Garrett Clayton are basically the same person. Let's start at the beginning. You may know Zac Efron as Troy Bolton in the Disney Channel Original Movie (or DCOM), High School Musical and it's franchise.
