I just finished binging Queer as Folk (US). My best friend told me about the show, last year. I have been binging it for a while now and I finally finished it. If you are looking for a good show to watch with queer characters, this show is great.
This post won't have any photos because it's a quick filler since I haven't posted in a while. But I will definitely write a more elaborate post about the show in the future. It's so good.
But the final season of QaF hurt my soul. They had a club bombing and it kind of hit close to home, since the Pulse night club shooting was only last year.
The final episode ended with Michael and Brian dancing in the ruins of Babylon and it goes from them alone in the ruins to them in the crowd as if the club was still up and running. It was like queer heaven.
This show has hurt me in more ways than one. When they killed Vic off, I was not ready. An when they renamed he hospice after him.
My favorite characters in this show was Ben, Vic, and Michael. In that order.
Overall is was a great so and I'm so sad I finished it because I love it so much, but I'll probably rewatch it, honestly. It's so good!
I will write a more specific post about it in the future with photos and screaming about characters and actors. I'm just sing this post to cope with finishing it. You'll get another post like this when I finish Frasier.
Just be happy, I didn't have a blog when Glee ended. I cried for a while over that show ending because of how much it meant to me.
I'm going to end it here, but I fell in love with Queer as Folk and I really want to watch the UK version, especially since it was a Russell T. Davies show. He wrote for the new Doctor Who until Matt Smith's Eleventh Doctor. So I know the UK version is probably really good.
