Sarah stumbled into the apartment. Her roommate, Michael, walked into the living room. "You're home late." He commented, not noticing she was tipsy.
"Yeah. We went to a bar and talked and I am now a free man!" She laughed.
"Except you have a vagina."
"Wow. Rude and sexist." She looked at him, before giggling. "I dumped him and told him that this chapter of my life is over!"
"Are you drunk?" Michael asked.
"Yes. Very. I had to. You'd be drunk too if you were dating such a dick."
"Sure." Michael laughed. "Come on. Let's get you showered and into bed.
"I love you, Mikey." She wrapped her arms around him. "I mean I know you're gay, but you and I would make beautiful children." She smiled.
"We would, but it would never happen."
"You wouldn't be my baby daddy?" She asked. He looked at her. "It's just a thought! Think about it."
"Okay. I will, but you need to get to bed."
"Can't I just crash here on the couch and shower in the morning?" She asked, collapsing on the couch.
"I guess you can, but are you sure? You have a perfectly good bed."
"Nah. I like the couch." She lied down.
"I'll get you a pillow and blanket then."
"I love you, Mikey."
"Love you too, beautiful." He walked into the bedroom they shared and brought her a comforter and her pillow. "Last chance. Are you sure you want to sleep out here?"
"Yes! I am sure. The surest I've been about anything."
"Okay." He gave her the pillow and comforter. "If you change your mind, just climb into bed, alright?"
"I know." She stood up and hugged him, making him laugh. "Thank you, Mikey."
"You're welcome. Goodnight."
"Nighty night!" She laughed, laying back down.
