Wow, can you believe I've posted 20 writing pieces on this blog? A lot of them are original, which I've never posted my original writing until now.
This is just cute fluff because I like writing fluff.

Pat sat on the couch. His headphones were n and his laptop was open. He has been working from home non-stop for the last two days and Mark was longing for attention. Plopping on the couch, Mark stared at Pat, hoping it would distract him, but nothing happened.
"Pat!" Mark whined. He laid his head on his boyfriend's laptop and looked up at him.
"What is it?" Pat asked, looking down at him.
"I haven't bothered you in two whole days and I deserve some kind of reward." Mark's whininess made Pat laugh.
"And I will make it up to you after I'm done. I promise."
"How long will that take?" Mark asked.
"I don't know, but-"
"Come on! Take a break. Let's go out and do something."
"I'm sorry, Mark. I can't right now."
"Patrick!" Mark kicked the air like a toddler, making Pat smile and shake his head.
"You're acting like a three-year-old."
"Then make me stop. Please." Mark begged. "I won't leave you alone. You know I won't. I refuse to."
"Yeah, I know. Pat took off his headphones. "I guess I should take a break. Take a breather." He took a deep breath. "I'm sorry I've been neglecting you."
"I know you're working, but I also know that you tend to overwork yourself if I'm not here to peel you away." Mark smiled. He sat up, allowing Pat to close his laptop. Looking at Mark, Pat laughed. "What?"
"Nothing."
"No. What is it? Is there something on my face?" Mark asked.
"No." Pat laughed. "You're just really cute."
"Shut up!" Mark's face turned red. Pat smiled and kissed Mark's cheek.
"I am going to hop in the shower then we can do whatever the hell you want to do," Pat explained, placing his laptop on the coffee table. Mark watched him walk to their bedroom and laid down on the couch, face first.
